The aim of Peace Direct is to empower people in order to enable them to find solutions for violent conflict.
Amongst others Peace Direct supports projects in Burundi, Congo, Kashmir, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan and the UK.
Peace Direct publishes 'Ripples into Waves', a concept paper demonstrating how locally led peacebuilding can have national impact in conflict zones. The publication is handed out by the UN to all their Peace and Development Advisers worldwide.
